Dried Black Soldier Fly Larvae are high in calcium and essential fatty acids, making them a nutritious and delicious treat for your backyard birds and flock!
Chubby Dried Black Soldier Fly Larvae are comparable to dried mealworms but have a much higher calcium value.
Research has shown that natural feed with balanced Ca:P ratios increases animal health and contributes to stronger bones and shiny feathers.

How Much Should I Feed?
Dried calci worms are a treat, not a complete feed. Start small, see what gets eaten, and adjust from there.
Wild garden birds
A small handful in a tray or feeder each morning, topped up if it clears quickly.
Roughly 30–50g a day for a busy feeding station.
Chickens and poultry
Keep treats to about 10% of daily intake so it does not displace their layer feed.
Around a tablespoon per bird per day.
Reptiles and turtles
Offer as part of a varied diet, soaked first so they are not fed dry.
Follow your vet or keeper’s guidance on frequency.
Fish and small animals
A few worms at a time, only as much as gets eaten within a few minutes.
Remove anything uneaten from the water.
In hot weather, soak the worms in warm water for a few minutes first. It softens them and adds moisture, which matters most for fledglings and reptiles.
